2008 President's Message

Over the past 28 years TVWC has played a prominent role in the Temecula Valley.

We have maintained a reputation for compassion, commitment and communication within the community.

Our members serve selflessly and proudly; all the while making new friends and enjoying the many committees available to them in TVWC.

We are known for our focus on the young people living in the Valley. Annually we raise substantial funds to provide school scholarships, and we provide many different forms of assistance for special educational needs.

This year we are again focusing on youth:  the young men and women who are serving our wonderful country so that we can continue to live in safety.

Some of these young people have given the ultimate sacrifice while others are returning home to Southwest Riverside County severely wounded. They are being treated at the Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego. It is our goal to provide a handicapable van to transport these wounded veterans to this rehabilitation center.

I hope that you will join us this year, either as a member or as a guest at our Holiday Home Tour. Our 24^th Annual Holiday Home tour will be held on November 22 and 23 in Temecula’s beautiful wine country. A wonderful Gala evening will be held at Keyways Winery on Friday, November 21. Tickets for the Home Tour and Gala will be on sale on our website and at select locations throughout the Valley sometime in August.
