Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention: Our Mission

The Domestic Violence and Awareness Committee, (DVAP), strives to increase awareness of domestic violence, abuse and neglect in our community. In bringing awareness we can make a difference in the lives of people affected directly or indirectly by domestic violence.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month.

Temecula Valley Women’s Clubs in partnership with Hemet Woman's Club and Winchester Woman's Club went into a Middle school and Elementary school to get the awareness out to the children that THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR CHILD ABUSE. There are safe adults to talk to if you feel you or a friend are experiencing this. The Pinwheel has become our NATIONAL SYMBOL reminding us of a safe and healthy childhood.  Support "Child Abuse America's Pinwheels for Prevention" program. Temecula Valley Women’s Club also works with preschools in our local area. Go to for more information.
