Pacific Crest Trail Hike with the Conservation Committee
PCT Hike Report
A small group of brave women (and one man) from the Conservation Committee took a walk on the wild side on Friday, April 13, 2018. Starting at the Warner Springs Community Center, we walked about one mile on the world famous Pacific Crest Trail.
.
After our walk, we stopped for a picnic lunch at Shadow Mountain Winery, where we discussed movies, books, and current events. What a congenial and friendly group of friends to have conversation with!
The highlight of our adventure was a tour of the vineyards and winery with the owner, Alex McGeary. Alex heads up the vineyards and wine making, while his wife Pamela runs the store and wine tasting. What a fabulous experience!
Be sure and stop in next time you drive out that direction! Thanks to Jo Ann and all the ladies who made this fun adventure possible.
How much for the tour?
Tickets for Home Tour are $40 each $45 if you purchase the day of the event. You can buy tickets on-line at https://www.tvwc.com/2018-buy-home-tour-tickets/
