2020 Scholarships

Mission Statement – The Scholarship Committee celebrates the students in our community by supporting their goals for higher education.
It’s been different this year due to COVID-19; we miss coming together and reading those intriguing and interesting scholarship applications. We miss the scholarship receptions and the surprised look on their faces. We miss the gratitude, handshakes and hugs we’d get when they visit our May General club meet-ing. Nonetheless, we still get the gratification, pride and pleasure of pouring into and enhancing the lives of others that we help and we still experience the joy of giving back and improving our community by in-vesting in its future despite the challenges brought upon us by COVID-19.
High School Seniors.
We have awarded academic scholarships to public
high school students in the Temecula/Murrieta Valleys
since 1982. We work with two Foundations: Dollars for
Scholars in Temecula and Murrieta High School Foundation.
Each year TVWC awards over $18,000 in
scholarships to graduating seniors in the Temecula
and Murrieta Public High Schools.
Career Pathways provides alternative education
scholarships to motivated individuals of any age requiring
financial assistance to reach their goals in a
trade, technical or medical tech field, not through a
traditional four year college or university.
HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) is a
non-profit youth leadership development program for
high school sophomores. TVWC sent six sophmores
from the six high schools to a weekend seminar where
they learned leadership skills.
